On February 7th , Stanislav Kochanovsky is leading the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra for the first time. The concert programme includes Tchaikovsky’s rarely played Manfred symphony as well as Schumann’s piano concerto – the only piano concerto the composer has ever completed. Alexander Gavrylyuk, who has developed a close partnership to the Concertgebouw Orchestra in the past years, is the soloist of these concerts.
For Stanislav Kochanovsky, this is only one of several debuts to come in 2018. Further debuts will take place with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse in April and with the Filarmonica di Bologna in May 2018.
