Back in Malaysia
Starting on February 24th, Stanislav Kochanovsky is going to perform four concerts and two different programmes with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. While the first concert programme includes the prelude of Wagner’s “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” and Mahler’s Symphony No.7.
The second one combines Rachmaninov’s choral symphony “The Bells” with scenes from “Eugene Onegin” by Tchaikovsky. Kochanovsky’s conducting of the latter was very much praised at his debut in Zurich last autumn – now the Malaysian audience has the honour to experience parts of the opera under Kochanovsky’s sensitive guidance!
